Free Community Workshop & Live Jazz at UNE Art Gallery, Portland

In honor of our current exhibit, “Recent Acquisitions in the Stephen K. Halpert Collection of Photography at UNE”, we are pleased to host a free community workshop, accompanied by live music and refreshments!

UNE ART GALLERY, Portland

 

Join artist & educator Savanna Pettengill for a free workshop making beautiful sun-printed photograms!  This workshop will use natural materials from around the UNE Art Gallery and Labyrinth, and all additional materials will be provided.  Please show up ready to work outdoors and make some beautiful artwork based on photographic processes.  All ages and skill levels welcome.

 

We will be joined by Stephen K. Halpert, curator of photography.  Workshop will begin at 12:30 sharp.  While you make your artwork, enjoy live jazz in the gallery.  Open to the public, no registration required; refreshments will be served.
