UNE Marine Affairs 3+3 (J.D. at UMaine Law pathway program) Information
The University of New England’s Marine Affairs 3+3 (J.D. at UMaine Law pathway program) is for students who wish to complete a B.A. and a J.D. degree in six (6) years rather than the typical seven (7), by substituting the courses taken during the first year of law school for the final year of the Marine Affairs degree. This joint program allows the enrolled student to:
- Eliminate one (1) academic year of undergraduate education.
- Save one (1) year’s worth of UNE tuition.
- Enter their chosen professional field a year early.
