Fall Research & Scholarship Day

The Westbrook College of Health Professions Fall Research and Scholarship Day  includes concurrent sessions of oral presentations from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM in WCHP Lecture Hall, Blewett 06 and Hannaford Lecture Hall (Pharm 109).  The poster session is in the Finley Recreation Center from 12:00 to 2:00 PM.  Breakfast items will be served in each venue and lunch will be served in Finley during the poster session.

Please note that only a limited number of programs have been printed to be available at each venue and those will be reserved for guests.  We encourage those of you who wish to have a program to take to the event with you to print the attached program, or relevant pages therefrom.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy the scholarly work of WCHP students and faculty and to celebrate their accomplishments with them.  Please look over the schedule to decide which presentations you wish to attend.

Students and faculty across the health professions will present their scholarship and research activities through oral presentations and poster sessions.

At the conclusion of this workshop, students will be able to:

1.    Develop awareness of research and scholarship conducted by different health professions

2.    Develop awareness of interprofessional research projects conducted by students and faculty

3.    Develop appreciation for the importance of research and scholarship in health education
