High Bush Blueberry Management

Join Frank Wertheim, Associate Extension Professor of Agriculture/Horticulture with the University of Maine Cooperative Extension, for an informational talk and hands-on instruction about highbush blueberry management.  UNE’s student environmental club, Earth’s ECO, installed five highbush blueberry shrubs as part of the Edible Campus Initiative at the compass rose, a prominent campus location, four years ago.  While the bushes have produced fruit each year, it’s now time to learn how to care for them. Bring hand pruners if you want real practice!
