The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a national network of volunteers focused on improving the health and safety of their communities. There are currently 991 community-based units with over 200,000 volunteers across the United States.

The MRC includes medical and public health professionals, as well as community members, in an effort to improve emergency response and strengthen community resiliency. Volunteers are prepared and aid in the response to natural disasters and public health emergencies.
