Alicia Peters, PhD

In this talk, Dr. Peters will present an overview of her sabbatical research on the human trafficking response in northern New England. Highlighting ethnographic approaches to studying human trafficking, she will explore how notions of vulnerability intersect with understandings of trafficking among law enforcement officials and discuss what her findings suggest for the survivors who are most acutely impacted by the response.
