"Homesick: Architects as Essential Health Care Workers"
"Homesick: Architects as Essential Health Care Workers" is part of the UNE Art Gallery's ongoing series of remote interdisciplinary public talks revolving around gallery exhibitions and academic overlap. In the context of "Sensing Place", at the UNE Art Gallery in Portland (curated by Anna Queen and Justine Kablack; February 18-June 12, 2022), architectural historian Jon Calame will argue that good architecture is best understood as a branch of pharmacology. He will speak in conversation with Dr. Susan Wehry, Chief of Geriatrics at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
