"Ennio": A Documentary That Celebrates the Life and Legacy of the Legendary Italian Composer Ennio Morricone
We invite you to join us for the screening of Ennio, a documentary about the life of Ennio Morricone, the Italian maestro whose film scores have been imprinted on generations of people around the globe. Many will know his music through films like The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West, or The Mission, among hundreds of other films. Directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, the director of Cinema Paradiso, The Legend of 1900, and Malèna, Ennio recounts the life of an unassuming man who is dedicated to music but is willing to break with convention in order fuse music and plot into opera-like dramas. The film experience in the last six decades before his death in 2020 would not have been the same with Ennio Morricone's musical genius.
