"Infinite Melodies": The first major solo event by Radia Bakkali
Born in Tangier, Radia Bakkali began learning piano, music theory and andalusi music at the age of 8 at the National Conservatory of Tangier. In 2013 she obtained her Piano diploma at the National Classical Piano Competition in Rabat, and began to teach Piano at the Conservatory of Music in Tangier. In 2015, she joined the Conservatory of Granada in Spain to continue her musical studies. After graduating, she continued her studies in piano, harmony, chamber music and piano at the Professional Music Conservatory of Ceuta under the direction of the pianist Tomás Lobato Pérez while still teaching piano at both private and public conservatories in Tangier.
In 2020, she obtained her professional diploma from the Conservatory of Ceuta and joined the Superior Conservatory of Music of Málaga in interpretation.
Radia’s career is marked by several national and international awards, including the first piano prize at the “Maria Jesús Bravo” competition in Ceuta, chamber music concerts accompanying renowned international concert artists, international festivals of Ilmenau (Germany), Belgrade (Serbia), Maribor (Slovenia), and the concerts of the Alboughaz Choir in Belgium, Spain and Morocco.
