Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration

The Annual MLK Jr. Celebration is held in honor of Dr. King’s visit to St. Francis College in May 1964 and to encourage discussion of racial equality in the 21st century.

Join the Office of Intercultural Student Engagement in upholding Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy this year on January 25, 2023 where we will be hosting a luncheon alongside an esteemed panel of community activists and organizers. This year's theme, "You Have the Choice," highlights the ways that we chose to be engaged change makers. Let's be inspired together to create a more equitable and just world. 

Streaming options are available for folks who would prefer to join us online as well as a live stream and food at the UNE Portland Campus in Innovation Hall.
