Location

The University of New England has three beautiful campuses in fantastic locations. As an undergraduate student, you will spend most of your time on our coastal campus in Biddeford, Maine where you see water from the library and walk the beach after class. Skiing, surfing, biking, hiking, and more are within driving distance, and faculty use nearby woods and waters for hands-on learning. Plus, Portland is only 30 minutes away.

Virtual Tour

Visit us

Undergraduate Admissions welcomes prospective students to our Biddeford campus, offering a variety of ways to visit — from open houses and information sessions to walking tours and opportunities to chat with current students and faculty.

How to Apply

Why Choose UNE?

Community

“In terms of academics and community feel, you can't top UNE. People who come here talk about how close the relationships that they have are. Even just the smallest things that people do for each other here go a long way. People bond closely, and it feels like home.” Mackenzie O’Brien, Biological Sciences and Psychology ‘20

Global Education

“We fit into three weeks the amount of activities that you could have done over the course of two or three months. The ultimate goal of the class was to travel to Kenya together as a group to put our classroom learning to use in a hands-on setting. We did just that. Every experience that we had was deeply educational.” Seth Semmelrock, Business Administration ’19

Careers

“The way we’re taught lets you know what to expect and really helps you succeed in whatever program you're going to go into. There are so many resources on campus that help you through the steps of getting into grad school or job searches. UNE also helped me find and assisted me in applying for my upcoming internship.” Megan DeMorris, Health, Wellness, and Occupational Studies ‘20

Collaboration

Valerie Pendleton

“Having the hands-on experience of working with all of these different people from different professions was very interprofessional… It’s something that I don't think I would've gotten elsewhere.” Valerie Pendleton, Medical Biology ’18, Osteopathic Medicine ‘22
