Center for Community and Public Health hosts lecture series
The University of New England Center for Community and Public Health is hosting a year-long lecture series for 2009-'10 focused on an examination of health care issues facing Americans today.
The lectures will be offered by full-time faculty members from across the University as well as accomplished scholars of these issues who are not members of the UNE community.
The lectures, which are free and open to the public, will be held at College of Pharmacy Hannaford Auditorium at UNE's Portland Campus.
The first three lectures are:

Lecturer: Dr. Jim Cavanaugh, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, UNE Department of Physical Therapy

Maine Youth Overweight Collaborative: Addressing Lifestyle for Young Patients and Their Families
Lecturer: Dr. Michele Polacsek, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, UNE's Public Health Program
