UNE launches new website

The University of New England is pleased to introduce its newly redesigned website.

The UNE website is one of the most important communications vehicles for the University.  Over the past year, it attracted 733,000 unique visitors who made 2.1 million visits and viewed 7.1 million pages.
 
Since UNE rolled out its new brand campaign and logo earlier in 2009, the Communications web team has worked to create a vibrant and engaging website that showcases the University, integrates our new logo and color palette, supports our strategic initiatives, and conveys UNE‚Äôs unique brand attributes -- UNE's leadership in the health sciences and liberal arts, academic rigor, supportive environment, focus on the future, and compelling location. 
 
The website reflects the very best practices and places UNE among the best on the web.  Numerous enhanced and completely new features include:

  • Vibrant Flash photographic sequences
  • Photos and videos that pop-up in shadow boxes and can be instantly shared with others via e-mail and social networking sites
  • Convenient drop-down menus
  • Direct access to social networking applications from the homepage
