Marc Hahn named to the Board of Directors of the American Board of Pain Medicine
University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine Dean and Senior Vice President for Health Affairs Marc B. Hahn has been named to the Board of Directors of the American Board of Pain Medicine, the specialty board that certifies interdisciplinary pain medicine physicians (MD/DO).
Dean Hahn is board certified in anesthesiology by both the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology. He also holds sub-specialty board certification in pain medicine by both the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine.
ABPM is the certifying body for qualified physicians in the field of pain medicine. It evaluates candidates for examination, with the goal of improving the quality of graduate medical education in the field of pain medicine by collaborating with related organizations, and sharing information about this specialty with the public.
