North Dam Mill exhibition highlights UNE student art works April 2-30
Students enrolled in courses in the University of New England's Department of Creative and Fine Arts will exhibit a wide variety of art work at the North Dam Mill at 2 Main Street in Biddeford from April 2 - 30, 2010.
The opening reception is Friday, April 2nd from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Hours of the exhibition are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The student exhibition runs in tandem with the Mill-ennial 2010 exhibition being held by the Saco Museum.
Students enrolled in courses with faculty members Stephen Burt, Sarah Gorham, Holly Haywood, Jan Johnson, Bernard Meyers, and Deborah Randall will exhibit a wide variety of work in drawing, painting, photography, and design.
This is the second student exhibition held by students in the Mill complex and is part of the Creative and Fine Arts Department's ongoing effort to integrate the arts at UNE with the surrounding community. The art work on display showcases a small part of the expanding creative culture at the University of New England.
