Soccer coach Heather Davis focus of Press Herald column

The women's soccer team's new coach, Heather Davis, was the focus of the Portland Press Herald's College Notebook sports column on Sept. 15, 2010. An all-region player for Plymouth State in the mid-1990s, Davis brings 12 years of head coaching experience to UNE. Her most recent position was as head coach of Division II Lock Haven University. UNE was off to a 3-1 start at the time of the story. The column also mentioned that UNE players Cassie Zdrojeski was named the TCCC defensive player of the week and Morgan Jensen was named rookie of the week.
