University of New England Vice President for Research and Dean of Graduate Studies, Timothy Ford, Ph.D, is a contributing writer to the recently published "Environmental Health: From Global to Local, 2nd Edition," edited by Howard Frumkin (Jossey Bass; Feb 2010). Dr. Ford wrote the chapter entitled "Water and Health."
The second edition is a comprehensive introductory text, offering an overview of the methodology and paradigms of field of environmental health, ranging from ecology to epidemiology, from toxicology to environmental psychology, and from genetics to ethics.
