UNE in top tier of U.S. News & World Report's 2011 Rankings of the region's best universities

The University of New England has once again been ranked as one of the "Best Universities" in the North that offer "a full range of undergraduate and master's programs" in the 2011 edition of "America's Best Colleges" from U.S. News & World Report.

UNE was ranked 81st in the top tier of this category, tied with the New York Institute of Technology and the University of Massachusetts -Dartmouth. This is the eighth year that U.S. News has ranked UNE a top regional university.
