Ali Ahmida to speak at Harvard Center for Middle Eastern Studies Oct. 20-21
UNE Political Science Professor and Chair Ali Abdullatif Ahmida has been invited to speak at the Harvard Center for Middle Eastern Studies on Oct. 20 and 21st, 2011. The two-day symposium, titled "Popular Protests, Governance and Political Transitions in the Maghreb: Algeria, Libya, Morocco and Tunisia,” is organized by the Center's Moroccan Studies Program. Ahmida will give a talk on the impact of the Libyan revolution on the rest of North Africa in addition to being on a panel, which will discuss the future of the Arab Spring.
