Cathy Plourde discusses her career and Add Verb Productions on the Dr. Lisa Radio Hour
On Sunday, July 28, 2013, Cathy Plourde, director of of UNE's Add Verb Productions, appeared as a guest on the Dr. Lisa Radio Hour & Podcast for a program on "Finding Voice" that ran on WPEI and WLOB Portland.
Dr. Lisa Belisle, host of the show, explains that "If we have the strength to keep using our voice, we may have the chance to use it to help others—perhaps those who have no voice, or whose voices are not like ours. Our voice is our gift, and we can give it to others. Through the human voice, the breath of the world can flow."

Add Verb was founded in 2000 with a mission of using theatre in health and wellness education, and is currently a program of the University of New England's Westbrook College of Health Professions. Add Verb Productions' programming is a unique and carefully researched hybrid of theater, education, community action, and local resource collaboration designed to foster discussion on difficult social issues and find ways to make communities safer, stronger, and healthier. Issues addressed include eating disorders, bystander intervention, domestic violence, sexual identity.
