Geoffrey Bove presents osteopathic keynote address in Rome
Geoffrey Bove, D.C., Ph.D., UNE associate research professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, was a keynote speaker at Biological Mechanisms of Osteopathy, held September 27-28, 2014 in Rome, Italy. The highly collaborative congress brought together leaders in the osteopathic research field from across the United States and Europe.
The objectives of the congress included exploring the biological mechanisms involved in osteopathic treatment, articulating guidelines to improve osteopathic care, and building a culture of international and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Bove’s keynote address focused on one of his current projects, through which he is evaluating the effects of manual therapy on some of the most common side effects of surgery.
