Jen Morton to present webinar on evaluation of interprofessional education and care in community settings
Jen Morton, DNP, MPH, APHN, director of nursing and associate professor in the Department of Nursing, will co-present a webinar titled “Measuring the Impact: Evaluating Interprofessional Education and Care in Community Clinical Settings” on October 16, 2014.
Morton was requested by the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education to present to a nationwide audience of Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) grantees and others involved in interprofessional education (IPE).
She will discuss lessons learned from UNE’s CHANNELS project, a Nursing and IPE collaboration with the City of Portland’s Division of Public Health and Portland Community Health Center that aims to improve the health of immigrant communities through team-based innovations in health care.
Morton will also explain how the support of the National Center and the network of other HRSA grantees have aided in the CHANNELS project.
