Dora Mills addresses tobacco prevention in Bangor Daily News
Dora Anne Mills, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.A.P., vice president of Clinical Affairs, recently spoke to the Bangor Daily News regarding Maine’s tobacco prevention efforts.
The article discussed the rate of teen smoking in Maine, and the various tactics of state health officials to control it. It went on to describe the Fund for a Healthy Maine, a special source dedicated to nine health-related causes including Medicaid support, as well as smoking prevention and cessation.
Mills explained the importance of using the Fund for tobacco prevention, rather than only using it to support health care.
