Sabrina Kurtz-Rossi and Julie McKinney organize Global Health Literacy Fellows Forum
Sabrina Kurtz-Rossi, M.Ed., and Julie McKinney, M.S., adjunct instructors for Graduate Programs in Public Health, are organizing an event titled, "Global Health Literacy Fellows Forum,” at the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts on June 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This forum is designed for practitioners, researchers and students interested in exploring the role of health literacy in promoting health communication around the world. Case studies and discussions will be core to the forum’s educational approach.
Participants will learn about health literacy in a global context, consider international health literacy research and best-practices, and share ideas for future direction in global health literacy and health communication.
