UNE faculty and student involvement with Brain Bee Boot Camp featured in Journal Tribune article
The Brain Bee Boot camp held on UNE's Biddeford campus last Friday was featured in a Journal Tribune article this week. Several UNE faculty members and students were highlighted in the article including Michael Burman, Ph.D., assistant professor in the Department of Psychology; Ian Meng, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences; Geoffrey Canter, Ph.D., professor of Biology; Emily Mitchell, Neuroscience major, and Rebecca Krivitsky, Neuroscience major.
The boot camp, which aimed to help Regional Brain Bee winners prepare for the National competition, was led by Burman, Canter and Meng, with students Mitchell and Krivitsky leading a discussion on brain anatomy.
