Dora Mills appointed to the New England Comparative Effectiveness Public Advisory Council
Dora Anne Mills, M.D., M.P.H., FAAP, vice president of Clinical Affairs, and director of the Center for Excellence in Health Innovation, has been selected as a member of the New England Comparative Effectiveness Public Advisory Council (New England CEPAC).
Mills was appointed to the position by the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER), an independent, non-profit organization that produces reports analyzing the effectiveness and value of drugs and medical services.
As a member of the New England CEPAC, Mills will join 21 New England-based experts, chosen for their expertise in reviewing and applying medical evidence. Council members have a diverse skillset, with backgrounds ranging from medical ethics, outcomes research and technology assessment, to patient advocacy and engagement and clinical practice. Together, they will work to improve the quality of healthcare in the region by reviewing analyses of medical tests, treatments and delivery system interventions.
