Gugliucci served on the leadership team with Frank and Sterns to create the first accrediting organization (AGEC) for college and university gerontology programs across the globe at the associate, baccalaureate and master degree levels. The second symposium, “Palliative Care and End of Life” included four oral presentations including one from Guglicci’s on her research titled, “48 Hour Hospice Home Immersion Project: Life Altering Medical Education.”
Gugliucci’s three Poster presentations included, “Review and Reflections of Two-Way Mentoring Switch Project,” “Design Considerations for Falls Prevention Interventions for Older Adults With Vision Impairments” and “MOTIVATE Project: Qualitative Findings Support Resident Oral Health Care at Maine Nursing Homes.”
