Rebecca Boulos gives presentation on race nutrition to triathletes
Rebecca Boulos, M.P.H., Ph.D., assistant professor in the School of Community and Population Health, gave an invited presentation to 30 triathletes competing with AIM Multisport, Inc., located in Concord, MA.
Her talk, “Sports Nutrition for the Triathlete” covered evidence-based guidelines for meal timing pre, during and post-race including carbohydrate, fat, protein, vitamin and mineral intake and hydration considerations for triathletes.
