Elizabeth De Wolfe receives MWPA scholarship to attend Slice Literary Conference

The Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance (MWPA) has awarded Elizabeth De Wolfe, Ph.D., professor of history in the Department of History and Philosophy, a scholarship to attend the Slice Literary Conference in Brooklyn, New York, September 8 -10.
Working in collaboration with Slice, a literary journal, the MWPA awards four Maine writers the opportunity to attend the conference and meet top editors and agents. De Wolfe was awarded the scholarship for non-fiction authors. At the conference, she will discuss her current book project about a U.S. congressman, his mistress and a spy.
