UNE Vice President of Finance and Administration Nicole Trufant featured in NACUBO video testimonial
Nicole Trufant, UNE’s vice president of Finance and Administration, was recently featured in a video testimonial about the distance learning benefits provided by membership in the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO).
NACUBO represents chief business and financial officers through advocacy efforts, community service and professional development activities. The association's mission is to advance the economic viability, business practices and support for higher education institutions in fulfillment of its missions. Many of the organization’s professional development opportunities are offered through distance learning mechanisms, such as podcasts, webcasts, live broadcasts from workshops and conferences, and self-study courses.
In her testimonial, Trufant spoke to the value of the distance training offered by NACUBO. “I… look ahead to see what my staff should go to for specialized trainings and web casts that are good and always pay attention to the website,” she said.
Trufant was appointed to the board of NACUBO in March of 2017. She was also elected to serves as vice chair of the Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers (EACUBO) beginning in the fall of 2018.
