UNE’s Anouar Majid quoted in ‘University World News’
University of New England Vice President of Global Affairs and Communications Anouar Majid, Ph.D., provided insight on the subject of international recruiting in a University World News article about plans to increase the number of foreign students studying in Egypt.
Majid attributed North Africa’s inability to attract sufficient numbers of paying international students to a lack of competitiveness.
"While Sub-Saharan students do attend North African universities and institutes, they do so through partnership agreements or funding from the host country,” Majid told University World News.
