UNE’s Dan Mickool selected as PharmTalk session speaker

Dan Mickool, R.Ph., M.S., Ed.D. candidate, director of continuing education in the College of Pharmacy and clinical instructor in Pharmacy Practice, was chosen as a panel speaker during this year’s American Pharmacists Association (APhA) Annual Meeting. Mickool presented during an education session at the conference, held March 24, 2017.

In collaboration with six pharmacists from around the country, Mickool presented at “Innovative Practices in Diabetes Care.” The session was part of the PharmTalk series at APhA, which serves as a model to inspire others in practice and advance patient care. During the talk, Mickool and his fellow presenters discussed approaches for pharmacists to collaborate with physicians on improving outcomes in diabetes care, while sharing success stories and strategies.
