UNE’s Lara Carlson gives keynote address in Berlin, Germany
Lara Carlson, D.P.E., FACSM, CSCS, associate professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and the Center for Excellence in the Neurosciences, recently delivered the keynote address at the 2017 International Conference and Exhibition on Automobile Engineering in Berlin, Germany. Her address was titled “Hydration Status and Thermoregulatory Responses in Drivers During Competitive Racing.”
Automotive engineering experts, business and academic delegates, and students representing several countries around the world attended the conference. Carlson discussed her innovative research about the human body’s physiological and thermoregulatory response to the stress of competitive racecar driving.
