UNE’s Susan Farady shares expertise in marine policy in documentary panel discussion

Susan Farady, J.D., assistant professor of ocean studies and marine affairs in the University of New England Department of Marine Science, served a panelist during a discussion following the premiere of Ocean Frontiers III, a documentary about the challenges of ocean conservation and development in Maine.
Farady teaches courses in interdisciplinary marine law and policy. She serves as an advisor to several government, non-profit and academic bodies engaged in marine and environmental issues. She was joined on the panel by Chris Mayo, harbormaster for the town of Wells; Christopher Davis, executive director of the Maine Aquaculture Innovation Center; and Aimee Bushman, ocean planning outreach coordinator for the Conservation Law Foundation.
