UNE's Giving Day is Tuesday, March 23
On Tuesday, March 23, the UNE community will come together to “Give Blue” during UNE’s annual Giving Day.
There have been several Giving Day challenges created in the past to inspire the UNE Community to reach the highest donor goal ever. While this year has already brought a host of unwanted challenges, these are some that we hope you will welcome:
- If the goal of 900 donors is met by the end of Tuesday, March 23, it will unlock a $10,000 gift to UNE from the officers of the Board of Trustees.
- If 100 undergraduate alumni from the classes of 2011 through 2020 make a gift to UNE by the end of Tuesday, March 23, Eleanor Manning Morrell WJC ’49 and Richard Morrell, HA ’96 will donate an additional $5,000 to UNE.
- If 250 alumni, faculty, professional staff, students, and families of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) make a Giving Day gift, CAS Dean Jonathan Millen will take a swim in the Saco River off of Freddy Beach by March 26.
Launched five years ago to inspire philanthropy to UNE, #OneTwoGiveBlue Giving Day has become an annual day of celebration of what continues to make UNE a special place for generations. For all members of the UNE community, there is no better day to make a gift in any amount and to support any aspect of UNE than Tuesday, March 23.
Your gift just might be the one that puts us over the top.
