Appointed Vice President for Institutional Advancement in January 2022, Alicia Fereday is an entrepreneurial fundraising leader. She possesses more than 20 years of experience in higher education with a demonstrated track record as a highly successful and strategic program builder. 

Before becoming Vice President, Fereday was Assistant Vice President for Development at the University of New England. She has also served as the Director of Development at the Progressive Animal Welfare Society in Seattle, Washington, a Major Gift Officer at the University of Washington Foster School of Business, and Director of Annual Giving at Cornell University Law School. 

Fereday began her advancement career as a phonathon caller at her alma mater, SUNY Oswego. She is an active Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) member, serving as a judge for the annual CASE Excellence Awards.
