
Andre A. Lawe, Ed.D.
Location
Dr. Andre Lawe currently resides in Secaucus, New Jersey after living in New York city for most of his life. He has been an educator for over fifteen years, serving as a middle and high school teacher, Math coach, Math department chair, assistant principal, principal and most recently Director of Mathematics and Science for a large urban school district. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively on curriculum development and implementation and mentoring and developing educators to effectively handle the challenges of the 21st century. In addition, he has worked in distance education since 2008, facilitating both asynchronous and synchronous courses in Mathematics, Science and education.
He has earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Columbia University, Masters Degrees from Jones International University and St. Johns University; A certificate of advanced study in Educational leadership and a Doctorate of Education degree from St. Johns University.

Research interests
His research interests are building capacity/efficacy in teachers and administrators, shared leadership, transformational leadership, and increasing academic proficiency and achievement in various subgroups. To this end, He is currently working on a few research articles that will add the existing body of research on teaching and learning and school leadership.
