Location
Dr. Cyr joined the PT faculty in 2021 following 16 years in clinical practice and teaching as an adjunct faculty member at UNE since 2015. She graduated from Boston University in 2006 with an accelerated BS in Health Sciences and MS in Physical Therapy, then completed her transitional DPT degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2009. Dr. Cyr completed her Doctor of Health Sciences degree at Drexel University with a scholarship focus on participation in two wheel cycling for individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities. She is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy. Her clinical experience is diverse having worked in acute care, outpatient, early intervention, home health, and most recently in the school-based setting.
She is an active member of the APTA and volunteers with a variety of local youth and adaptive recreation programs. Dr. Cyr believes in promoting excellence in the field of Physical Therapy through evidence-based best practice methodology, life-long learning, supporting her local community, and advocating for the holistic healthcare of individuals worldwide. She lives in North Yarmouth with her husband, 2 kids and many pets.
