Jawharah (Gigi) Almalki, B.D.S., M.S.

Assistant Clinical Professor

Dr. Jawharah Almalki is a restorative dentist who recently earned her Master of Science and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Restorative and Digital Dentistry from the University of Michigan. With a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Jazan University, Saudi Arabia, and additional fellowship training at New York University, she brings a wealth of expertise in advanced restorative techniques, patient care, and cutting-edge digital dentistry.

Dr. Almalki’s dedication to both clinical practice and academic research has led to several notable achievements. Dr. Almalki’s research interests include digital dentistry, cariology, and dental education. Her research during her post-graduate studies earned her accolades such as the LeGro Endowed Research Award and a place on the shortlist for the IADR Cariology Research Group Award. 

Licensed to practice in the United States and Saudi Arabia, Dr. Almalki is an active member of several professional organizations, including the IADR and the Academy of Operative Dentistry. As a passionate educator, she has mentored dental students, helping to shape the next generation of dental professionals.
