Lorraine Shire Pecchia, MSEd

Lorraine has been connected to the University of New England for 33 years. She began as an undergraduate student from 1980-1984, then worked in the Admission and Registrar offices until 1991, and returned as a Learning Specialist in the Student Academic Success Center (formerly the LAC), where she has been since 2007. She worked for many years as a School Counselor, first at Massabesic High School in Waterboro, ME, and then at Cheverus High School in Portland, ME. She feels uniquely qualified to say she "raised her family" at UNE - her twin sons both graduated with Exercise Science degrees, and her husband received an Honorary Alumni award in 2009.
