Michael Saraka, B.S., M.A.

Mike Saraka, Conference Coordinator, joined the UNE Office of University Events and Conference Services in the Spring of 2025. Mike is originally from New Jersey but has resided in Saco since 2020. He received a bachelor’s in communication from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and a master’s in student personnel from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. He worked more than 20 years in higher education as an administrator in alumni relations and career services and more than 10 years in retail management. He also served for more than 10 years in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He brings to UNE a wealth of experience in event planning, student development theory, organization and management, and university leadership.
