Paul Pasternack, D.M.D.

Assistant Clinical Professor

Dr. Pasternack received his B.A. in biology from the State University of New York in Buffalo N.Y. in 1980. He then graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1984, after which he completed a one-year general practice residency with the VA medical center in Albany, N.Y.

Formally a "summer person" in New Hampshire, Dr. Pasternack decided to move to N.H. full time to begin his professional life. With his initial dental training complete, he worked in various dental practices as an associate before opening his own practice in 1987. From six charts in the file cabinet on day one, the practice grew to a multi-doctor, science and evidence-based practice. Dr. Pasternack retired from private practice in 2022 and joined the faculty at UNE shortly after.

In his free time, Dr. Pasternack enjoys spending time with his wife (also a dentist) and grown children, skiing, hiking, boating, and fishing.
