Rebecca Lachance, MS, RD, LD


Rebecca Bonnett is a dietitian currently working with the geriatric population in the Midcoast Maine region. She is also an active member of the Maine Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Rebecca graduated with her Master of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Maine Orono. Her dietetic internship had a strong focus on clinical nutrition and was completed at Maine Medical Center and Mercy Hospital in Portland. She also completed internship work with the Maine Dairy Council and at the School Nutrition department in Augusta. Rebecca worked as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Maine for introductory nutrition and lifecycle nutrition.

Her master's thesis focused on the effectiveness of nutrition education programs for the low-income population in Maine. Rebecca's interests include diabetes, lifecycle nutrition, nutritional issues surrounding obesity, and complementary nutrition practices.
