Tami Ward Gower, CPA, CGMA, M.B.A., M.Ed.

I joined the Business Department of UNE in 2016 as the Chair of the Business Department. My education includes a B.S. in Accounting from Husson University, a M.B.A. (with a concentration in Economics) from Bentley University and a Master in Education from Lesley University. Prior to joining UNE I spent 12 years as the Department Chair of Business/Culinary Arts at York County Community College. In addition to my work in higher education, my work experience includes several years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Boston and almost a decade with New England Power Company in contract administration and quality team facilitation.  I also enjoy being active in the community having served on the YCCC Foundation Board for many years, served on the Board of Directors for Atlantic Federal Credit Union, and am currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants (MECPA) and as the MECPA representative on the AICPA council.
