Bobby Cochrane ’09
As a freshman, I was an Athletic Training major but discovered that I wanted to focus more on sport performance; therefore I changed my major to [Applied Exercise Science]. I feel that the Applied Exercise Science program has given me a great opportunity to focus on sport performance while more than adequately preparing me for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program here at UNE.
The Applied Exercise Science program is a great major because it provides a lot of opportunities for internships and hands-on experiences while still giving its students a strong foundation of scientific theory that is competitive with any major college or university. It has also given me the opportunity to be an honors student, which allows me to participate in more challenging, yet manageable, class work that further develops my professional background.
