Why UNE?
I chose UNE for its beautiful location, small class sizes, and the ability to study abroad as a nursing major. Being a part of such a rigorous program usually means that you can’t study abroad without falling behind, but UNE makes it a priority to ensure that you’ll still be right on track even with a semester abroad. Over my two years here, UNE has done nothing but prove that I made the right decision for college. Their small class sizes, professors who truly care about your success, and beautiful campus make me feel at home. And of course, nothing beats those ocean sunsets with friends!
Favorite class
Anatomy and Art in Greece and Italy with Kaushik Dutta! I loved being able to take what I learned in my two semesters of Anatomy and Physiology and apply them to another passion of mine, art! This course was so rewarding, the knowledge I now have of Athens, Rome, Florence, and Bologna’s history is just incredible and the sights we got to see were breathtaking! Some of those sights included The Colosseum, Acropolis, and The Vatican! I definitely recommend this travel opportunity, it’s something I’ll never forget.

I love going to the point at sunset to be right on the water and just take in my surroundings or studying on the second floor of the commons in a big comfy chair looking out over the water.
