Why UNE
UNE is the best of both worlds, it offers a ton of opportunities to grow in and outside of my future career, while also being small enough that those opportunities remain accessible to everyone. When I toured this school it was very apparent to me that it was a community of people that were dedicated to providing those opportunities and taking the time to help me reach my specific goals. It also provides a great combination of city life and access to the environment. Campus is a beautiful place with a lot of nature to take in, with a beach, estuary, and mudflat all within walking distance, it can be very therapeutic. But, it is also so close to Portland and even Boston that I never run out of things to do. UNE had the perfect balance of so many of the things that were important to me.
