Timeless Traditions

Traditions run deep on the Biddeford Campus. From the ringing of the UNE bell during an autumn sunset over the Saco River on First Night, to Homecoming, to Family and Friends weekend, events on campus mark the passage of time and lend a sense of continuity and community to life at UNE.

Welcome Week, Harvest Fest, and the 50-plus year tradition of a faculty- and staff-served Thanksgiving Dinner for the students are a few of the events you can look forward to in the first semester. In the spring, you’ll have a blast in at the annual Doc Samuel’s Variety Show, in which faculty, staff, and students take to the stage with their talents, the semi-formal occurring off campus, and cap off the year with the Spring Concert.
