CME at UNE
On October 25, 2012, the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, Department of Continuing Medical Education (CME) successfully fulfilled accreditation requirements set forth by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the Maine Medical Association's Committee on Continuing Medical Education and Accreditation (MMA CCMEA).
The COM Department of Continuing Medical Education is one of a handful of providers in the country that holds the distinction of maintaining dual accreditation with the ACCME and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). The Department of Continuing Medical Education also provides accreditation services for the American Academy of Family Physicians and has formed strategic partnerships to educate other members of the health care team.
We provide direct consultation to ensure your educational activity meets the highest level of AOA and ACCME compliance. Your program will receive direct support in the design of course materials, establishment of educational objectives, and design of comprehensive evaluation instruments.
